Emilio Maggiore Trio
Emilio Maggiore Trio is a musical project that explores musical boundaries in an effort to make a synthesis of various musical genres and traditions.
The idea of the trio comes from poly-instrumentalist and composer Emilio Maggiore, that founded the trio in 2019 when he moved to Netherlands to study Ottoman music in Codarts.
Their repertoire has both original compositions as well as covers, blending modern jazz with elements taken from different musical traditions around the world (Hindustani, Anatolian, Cuban, Brazilian, as well as Rock and Pop and even Classical music)
The trio has performed un numerous venues around the Netherlands and recorded a few sessions, sometimes in collaborations with other musicians
